Founded in 1866, Troon Lifeboat has diligently provided rescue and assistance to all seafarers and beach users in the lower Firth of Clyde. Crewed almost entirely by highly trained volunteers, and funded completely from charitable donations, Troon Lifeboat has been able to save over 500 lives to date. These web pages provide information about the Lifeboat Institution in general but more particularly about Troon Lifeboat Station.
